Before the xMail Transition: Removing Oracle Sync

Before configuring your Palm or Windows Mobile device for use with xMail, it is important to remove the old Oracle Sync software from the computer or computers your device syncs with. The possible versions of this application are below:

  • Oracle Sync 9.0421 for Palm on OS X
  • Oracle Sync 10.1.1 for Palm on Windows
  • Oracle Sync 10.1.1 for PocketPC

For Windows XP users, you can remove software via Start → Control Panels → Add or Remove Programs.

Once this software is uninstalled, consult the proper Palm or Windows Mobile device xMail setup document.
