VPN Client Configuration
The VPN (virtual private network) allows University community members access to restricted services from off campus. It is not recommended as a substitute for the web proxy, since it requires the installation of fairly complex and invasive software.
Once the VPN software has been downloaded and installed, follow these instructions to set up a VPN connect to the UChicago network. Please note that if you are simply trying to access restricted web pages, we highly recommend using the campus web proxy instead.
